Project Overview // Launched: 25.08.06
HostelTXT is an idea born from the rapid uptake of technology.
Simply put, it allows a backpacker to SMS a region, receive a list of potential Hostels and then book their stay, all from their mobile phones.
Karmabunny developed the logo and built the website, which implements diverse technologies such as:
- SMS to web
- automated PABX style voice calls/responses to accomodation
- timed events
- extensive reporting
- secure transactions
